I’m Ellen Ecker Ogden.

A cookbook is more than recipes. It’s a way to tell a story, about people, and places, and food memories.

My cookbook story started on our family farm, raising two kids and an organic garden. I wrote my first cookbook, and now I’ve now written five cookbooks and hundreds of articles for national magazines including Martha Stewart Living, New York Times, Eating Well, The Boston Globe, Country Living, and Better, Homes and Gardens, among others.

I teach this class to inspire you to write, learn the skills, gain confidence and ultimately publish your own cookbook.
